From September 2024 to April 2025, I worked as an intern for the Data Graphics team at NBC News. In my time, I took projects from pitch to publication, created graphics for a wide variety of stories, and upkept the weekly News Quiz. I developed skills in Datawrapper, Google Sheets, Javascript, Adobe Suite, and more. I've assembled some highlights of my time there on this page!

Experience

Data Graphics Intern - NBC News: From September 2024 to April 2025, I worked as an intern for the Data Graphics team at NBC News. Social Media Assistant - Journalism + Design: Since November 2023, I have been working as a student assistant to help grow the Journalism + Design social media presence and general communications systems. I create several posts a week, plan events and maintain a connection with our audience comprised of students, faculty and alumni.
Marketing Intern - Seams Better: From June 2024 to August 2024, I Worked as a marketing intern for Seams Better, a fashion company focused on ethical labor practices and sustainability. As an intern, I created graphics, video content, kept up a weekly newsletter, and communicated with brand partners.

Projects

Creative Director, Head of Social Media, Reporter, Visuals - The New School Free Press: In my time at The New School Free Press, I've worn many different hats. As Creative Director of Print and Web, I am managing the paper's brand identity and communication through our social media, print issues and website. As Head of Socials, I managed a team of editors to maintain audience engagement and stick to a consistent posting schedule. I have also created several different visuals and reported stories for the Free Press.
Head Editor, Marketing Manager - Love Letters Magazine: From 2020 - 2023, I worked on an online literary magazine called Love Letters. I began as the editor of the prose section and moved up to Marketing Manager where I maintained the website, created layouts for digital issues and managed relationships with an audience and other magazines. For the last year of Love Letters, I became Head Editor, managing a team of people from across the globe to publish our issues.
